Waiting Room, 2021
In this photograph from late March 2021, a salon in Collegetown has set up an outdoor waiting area for customers. A vase with a colorful bouquet of artificial flowers brightens a chilly spring morning. Plastic covered chairs give an illusion of protection from the pandemic. Morning sun shines like a spotlight, creating a tableau of Covid theater.
This photo is so painterly! Very different from the style I am used to seeing in your work.

Without the date and the explanation this gorgeous phot would completely baffle even today’s viewer, not to mention tomorrow’s. Great photo.
