With all the travel restrictions of the pandemic, I stayed close to home, walking hundreds of miles but all within a 20 mile radius of my home outside of Trumansburg. The stunning autumn colors from “The Top of Sirrene Road” were a reward for climbing that road’s very steep hill. This work will be featured in my latest show in October 2021at SOAG, CLOSE TO HOME ~ and then some, along with pastel drawings and photographs by Diane Newton.

Looks great! Looking forward to the show.
Such a welcome burst of sunshine in a rainy summer. Or maybe this is a reminder of last fall?
Such a striking composition… there is something almost mystical about those branches on the right writhing across the road, and the swath of light that spans the road. A beautiful and evocative painting!
