I love the two Interloken Trail paintings. They (especially the North view) strongly remind me of the environments around the figures painted by Thomas Hart Benton…trees so strong with dark shadows and leaning in odd angles. Your paintings are compelling even without being populated. Do a Benton search you’ll be amazed as I was. Well done! Thanks for sharing and also giving a peak into your process.
