Sometimes logs and trees catch my attention because they remind me of something else. I begin to make up stories. Perhaps you might see something to wonder about in these images.

Yes the top photo is definitely a skull, but I love the way the two small, gnarled trees seem to be nuzzling in a quietly affectionate sort of way. Just a reminder of how important love is in our world, although the one does seem to be a bit pushed over by the other.
